Prices in US dollars, plus tax where it applies. Cancel any time from Settings; your plan runs to the end of the period you paid for. If Nightclerk ever shuts down, you get at least 90 days' notice and every backup stays downloadable until the last day.

Questions

What people ask before paying

Do bases count per Airtable account or workspace?
Neither. Your plan's bases can come from any mix of Airtable accounts and workspaces. Connect as many accounts as you like.
What happens when the trial ends?
Nothing breaks and nothing is deleted. If you haven't picked a plan, you move to Free: your oldest base keeps a weekly backup, and the others keep their history but stop backing up until you upgrade. Your full history stays for 30 more days, so you can download any of it.
Can my team or my client get the receipts too?
Yes. Add up to 3 people on Keeper or 10 on Vault, no account needed. Each one confirms from an invite email, gets the same receipts and alerts, and can stop with one click. Label bases with a client's name and you can send someone just that client's bases.
Can alerts go to Slack?
Yes, on Keeper and Vault. Paste a Slack incoming webhook in Settings and deletion, mass-edit and import alerts post to that channel. You can also have the daily receipt posted there, with or without the emails.
How big can a base be?
Airtable lets an app read about 500 records a second from one base, so most bases take seconds and a 50,000-record base about two minutes. Each backup can spend just over three minutes reading, enough for roughly 50,000 to 100,000 records depending on how quickly Airtable answers. If a base is bigger, that backup stops with a clear message, earlier backups stay intact, and you can email us about raising the limit.
What time do backups run?
Every day at 06:05 UTC, which is the evening before in the Americas and the morning in Europe. Vault adds a second run at 18:05 UTC. The app and receipts show times in your own time zone. You can't pick your own hour yet.
What counts as a deletion spike?
By default, 10 or more records gone from a table since the last backup, or 5 or more that make up at least 5% of it. You can change it in Settings, from “any deleted record” to “20 or more and 10%”, and choose to get receipts only on days something was deleted.
Can it tell me who deleted the records?
Not exactly, and nothing outside Airtable can: its API doesn't say who deleted a record. If a table has a “Last modified by” field, receipts and alerts show who last edited each deleted record, labelled as exactly that. It's usually enough to know who to ask. On Enterprise Scale, Airtable's audit log has the full answer.
My Airtable workspace is on the Free plan. Will backups use up its API calls?
Not unless you let them. Free Airtable workspaces get 1,000 API calls a month, shared by every tool. A backup uses about one call per 100 records, so a 2,000-record base backed up daily needs roughly 650 a month. Each base's page shows its real usage, and you can set a limit: a scheduled backup that would go over it is skipped, and we email you the first time it happens.
Will the price go up?
Not for you. If list prices ever change, your subscription keeps the price you signed up at for as long as you stay subscribed.
Can I cancel any time?
Yes, in two clicks from Settings. You keep your plan until the end of the period you paid for, then drop to Free. Your full history stays for 30 more days so you can download it. Within 14 days of your first payment, ask and we refund in full.
Do you offer nonprofit pricing?
Yes, 50% off either plan. Email hello@nightclerk.app from your organisation's address.
Is there a limit on records or attachments?
Plans don't count records, but each base has to fit in one backup run: about 50,000 records is comfortable, and up to roughly 100,000 depending on how quickly Airtable answers. A bigger base gets a clear message, never a partial copy. Attachment files are copied and kept up to 100 MB on Free, 2 GB during the trial, 5 GB on Keeper and 25 GB on Vault, across all your bases, for as long as your history keeps the records that had them, even after Airtable deletes them. Single files over 250 MB, and files past the allowance, are listed by name in the app and every download; those are fetched from Airtable when you download, so once Airtable deletes them they're gone.
Why so much cheaper than other Airtable backup tools?
We copy only what Airtable's API exposes, keep it efficiently (an unchanged record is stored once, not every day), and don't run a sales team. See the honest comparison, including what other tools do better.

Two weeks of daily backups first. Decide after.

A 14-day trial, no card. Read-only access to the bases you pick. Keep going for $10 a month, or keep the free plan.
