“Not stated” means the vendor's public pricing or feature page doesn't say; it may still exist. On2Air's browsing limitation is as described on ProBackup's comparison page. Airtable facts: trash, snapshots, revision history.
When to pick something else
- You need records written back into Airtable with one click. ProBackup and BaseStash restore into your base. We deliberately never ask for write access, so we give you an import-ready CSV and the trash reminder instead.
- You want backup files in your own Google Drive or Dropbox. On2Air and Airhistory write there. We keep the copy and let you download it any time.
- You need hourly backups: BaseStash Pro or On2Air Premium. Or delivery to your own S3 bucket: BaseStash Pro.
- You're one person on a Mac and want files on your own disk for a one-off price. Solid Backup ($19.99 once) saves bases to your Mac on a schedule, attachments included, as long as the Mac is on. It doesn't report what changed.
- You have more files than our plans keep. We copy attachment files up to 25 GB on Vault (5 GB on Keeper), and list single files over 250 MB by name only. If your bases hold more than that, Solid Backup, and tools that write to your own Drive, are limited by your disk instead.
- You need SSO, audit reports or a SOC 2 report. ProBackup is SOC 2 Type II on every plan, and its Premium plan adds SSO and audit reports. We don't have SOC 2 yet.
- You only worry about your own slip-ups and always notice within a week. Airtable's trash and snapshots are free and may be enough.
- You already pay for ProBackup or On2Air and like it. Keep it for restores. Our morning receipt and alerts can run alongside on the same bases, read-only, for $10.
When we're the better fit
- You want to know what changed without going to look. One email each morning: added, edited, deleted, per base, in plain English.
- Mistakes get noticed late. Search a year of past values, including records deleted long after Airtable's 7-day trash emptied.
- You have many bases and a small budget. $10 a month covers 10 bases from any accounts; $15 covers 50.
- Someone else has to approve it. Read-only access, a plain security page, and a demo you can click through without signing up.
Try it on your own bases before you compare any further.
A 14-day trial, no card. Read-only access to the bases you pick. Keep going for $10 a month, or keep the free plan.
