Terms of service

The service

Nightclerk makes read-only copies of the Airtable bases you choose, on a schedule, stores them, and shows you what changed. Nightclerk is independent and not affiliated with, endorsed or sponsored by Airtable (Formagrid Inc.).

Your account and your data

• You must be allowed to give us access to the bases you connect.
• Your data stays yours. You give us permission to copy, store and process it only to provide the service to you.
• Keep your login safe. You're responsible for what happens under your account.
• Don't use the service to break the law, to get around Airtable's own terms, or to overload it on purpose.

Plans and payment

• New accounts get a 14-day trial with no card. Afterwards you're on the Free plan unless you choose a paid one.
• Paid plans renew monthly or yearly until you cancel. Cancel anytime in Settings; you keep your plan until the end of the period you paid for.
• Your price never goes up while you stay subscribed. If list prices change, existing subscriptions keep their price.
• Not happy in the first 14 days after your first payment? Email us for a full refund.
• Nonprofits get 50% off; email us.

What we promise, and what we can't

We work hard to run every scheduled backup and keep your history safe, and we tell you when a backup fails. But backups depend on Airtable's API, your token and the internet, so we can't guarantee every single run. Some things can't be backed up by anyone through Airtable's API (automations, interfaces, view filters and sorts); see Security. Keep your own copies of anything you can't afford to lose; the download button is there for that.

The service is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before it, and we're not liable for indirect or consequential losses.

Ending things

• You can delete your account at any time from Settings.
• We may suspend accounts that abuse the service or don't pay, after telling you why.
• If we ever shut Nightclerk down, you get at least 90 days' notice and can download everything until the end.

Changes to these terms
